Joseph Martin

Biophysical Technician


Before joining Vital Signs, Joseph worked with the Selous River Camp at the Selous Game Reserve as a driver, guide, workshop manager and mechanic. He also worked at the Udzungwa Ecological Monitoring Center (UEMC) as a field assistant and translator for students visiting the Udzungwa National Park for study tours. He worked as a field assistant with Conservation International for the Vital Signs pilot project in 2010, which led to the establishment of Vital Signs in 2012. He has a certificate in motor vehicle mechanics and driving from Vocational Education Training Authorities (VETA) in Dodoma, Tanzania.
