Gervase Chiza Patrick
Gervase is responsible for overseeing management, technical implementation and logistics for Vital Signs Tanzania. His career spans over 12 years in the relief and development sectors working with international NGOs. Gervase spent six years with Kagera Community Development Programme, Tanganyika Christian Refugee Services and CARE, implementing programs that focused on agricultural improvement, energy saving technologies and natural resources and environmental management. He also spent six years with TechnoServe, working as a Senior Business Advisor and Team Leader under the Cotton and Textiles Development Program. He was recognized and awarded Technoserve Staff of the Year in 2011, and in 2013 was selected to be among 53 National Agricultural Experts in the development of the Big Results Now (BRN) Initiative. Gervase hold a Masters Degree in Natural Resources (specializing in Sustainable Environmental Management) from the Natural Resources Institute of the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Sokoine University, Tanzania.
